I’m Jane, a Minnesota wife and mom and the maker at HandHeartBeads. I became fascinated with beads and stones as a young girl, minored in art and design in college, and rediscovered my love of beads in 2017. I began experimenting with various bead weaving techniques of peyote, brick and chenille stitches. My craft is a slow one, creating earrings and necklaces one bead at a time utilizing needle, nylon thread and brass or stainless steel findings and wires.

My inspiration comes from interesting shapes and the interplay of colors that we see in places and objects surrounding us. I am also inspired by nature – flowers, mountains and landscapes. I love creating unique wearable art. I make pieces meant to inspire and uplift you.
